Join Authors and Illustrators from the Illustrated Memoir Project and hundreds of others in our community interested in welcoming and supporting immigrants and refugees to Walk with Little Amal across the suspension bridge. Amal is a 12-foot tall puppet of a 10-year old Syrian refugee who has traversed Europe and now America in search of her mother and safe shelter, raising awareness of the struggles of displaced people around the world. After crossing the bridge Amal will head to the Freedom Center for a concert by the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra. For more information visit Amal’s website, The Walk. For more information about participating in the walk in Cincinnati visit Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra.
