Local high school students Rojina Rai will read her illustrated memoir, I Choose to be Courageous, sharing her experience migrating to the US as a refugee from Nepal. Following her reading, Zinecinnati will lead participants in a Zine making workshop to create their own stories inspired by some of the concepts in Rojina’s memoir.
